- 1. The laws of color as they apply to makeup artistry, skin tones, undertones, and facial features.
- 2. Contouring and all facets of makeup application.
- 3. Assembling a student portfolio that is most beneficial upon entering the job market.
Makeup Artistry II
This segment builds upon the foundation of makeup artistry with five additional, exciting components:
- 1. Face Balancing - This course is a pre-requisite to "Makeup for Mature Skins." Students will learn how to view facial features and face shapes and develop a blueprint for customizing a makeup design for their client.
- 2. Makeup for Mature Skins - This is another step in redefining makeup application, correcting and minimizing imperfections, enhancing certain features while working with skin that exhibits loss of elasticity and muscle tone.
- 3. Camouflage Makeup - Students will learn how to conceal and minimize hyperpigmentation, acne scars, rosacea, dark circles, bruising, post-laser, post-peels, post-microdermabrasion and even conceal tattoos!
- 4. Air-Brushing Makeup - Students will experience first hand the art and finesse of an air-brushing makeup application. This makeup is a definite specialty!
- 5. Fantasy Makeup - Students can unleash their personal creativity which culminates in a mini-photo shoot! Great for your portfolio!
